IFI Library Student Open Day

It’s time to root out your best woolly cardigan and finest pair of white cotton gloves, because the Irish Film Institute is hosting its annual Library & Archive Student Open Day on Thursday, November 24th!

Come visit us for the IFI Library and Archive on the 24th of November from 2pm-6pm (last entry 5.40pm) and be guided by our Special Collections and Library Manager through our extensive collection of film related books and journals, newspaper cuttings, view a selection of unique archival items from the IFI Irish Film Archive Special Collections, and learn more about what you can gain from the wealth of material available for your film research and interest.

 

We’ll be offering special student annual subscriptions rates to our Library and Archive on the day and discounts on standard and student IFI Memberships and other great deals on the day, including FREE CINEMA POSTERS! The posters are available for students to take away on a first-come, first-served basis so make sure to get in early!

The Open Day is aimed at students currently enrolled in film, media or other relevant courses, or those who may be planning on studying film or media in the future.
